Going the way of all of the other dinosaurs and mammoth frame-on-body SUVs, the all-new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder gets a new unibody construction, room for seven, better gas mileage, and softer looks.
As we reported months ago, the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is built on the same platform as the 2013 Infiniti JX.
With it going up against the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Jeep Grand Cherokee, among others in the same class, the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder loses some of its ruggedness and off-road prowess.
For broad target demographic, we think Nissan is thinking like we do – soccer moms and suburbia families don’t take their SUV off-road that much.
