Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe: first look at new two-door

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe has been spied undergoing testing in Europe, revealing the mid-life styling updates to the two-door German luxury car for the first time. The spy shots of the new coupe come two months after we first published heavily camouflaged images of the updated Mercedes E-Class Estate. The latest shots give us our clearest look yet at the revisions to the headlights and bumper designs, which will make their way to the coupe, sedan, wagon and cabriolet models in 2013.

For the first time since the launch of the ‘W210’ E-Class in 1995, Merc’s large luxury model will embrace a more conventional rectangular headlight design, trading its current four-piece layout. The LED daytime running lights will also transition from the lower air intakes to the headlight assemblies, creating a sleeker bumper with cleaner lines.
