There’s no shortage of special editions over at the Chrysler Group which has just released details and a single photo of its next limited run model, the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket in advance of next week’s Los Angeles Auto Show. No prizes for guessing why the special Challenger is named like that. On the outside, Dodge designers combined a Stinger Yellow body color with a black grille surround and matching color profile stripes highlighted by the bespoke Yellow Jacket logo on the rear fender.
A set of newly designed 20-inch five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels with black painted pockets complete the exterior upgrades. As for the interior, while Dodge has yet to release pictures, the company says that the special edition Challengers SRT8 gets standard leather featuring an exclusive Stinger Yellow accent band with embroidered Yellow Jacket logo and silver accent stitching.
